About

“The Days Are Long, but The Years Are Short” ~ Gretchen Rubin

I never really understood that quote until I had kids, but as I sat there holding a baby at 4:30am who had also been up at 11:20pm, 12:15pm, 1:40am, 2:40am, 3:30am it occurred to me that while days may be long, what actually lasts forever are these NIGHTS!

The lonely nights where it’s just you and the little human who is fully in the throws of the 4-month sleep regression with a first-time mama who has no clue why her previously sleeping baby is up every hour on the hour!

Now with my girls 2 and 4, I completely understand the expression. I actually saw this quote the other and it really resonated with me:

Hopefully, the design of this blog will improve over time but I can promise you that it’s not always going to be pretty. It will be a real true look at motherhood. The good, the bad, the beautiful and the ugly and everything in between.

I promise to make every effort to be honest and accountable and I hope someone is able to learn from some of my mistakes, but ultimately I want every Mom who reads this to know that You Are Enough and no matter what mistakes we make, we are amazing in the eyes of our children.

Thanks for reading.

Love,

Steph
