February 11, 2020

Long Hair, Don't Care? Well, maybe us Mom’s actually do care! This post may contain affiliate links to products I love. Please see our full disclosure policy here. While many little girls love to grow their hair long, what is a parent to do when our child hates brushing her hair?  As a Mom of two little girls, one of whom was born with a full head of hair that I was able to BRAID by the time she was seven months old, I know a thing or two about hair brushing battles with kids. My now 5-year old daughter has the most beautiful hair in the world, but there are still days that I want to break out the buzzer and shave it all off ... read more

Blazing Buffalo Chicken Nachos

February 3, 2020

Delicious and Gluten Free! As a former New Yorker, I always crave the amazing buffalo wing sauce on the east coast and the range of options restaurants pump out using all things buffalo wings – Buffalo Chicken Subs, Buffalo Chicken Wing Dip, Buffalo Chicken Soup, the list goes on and on. Last night, I decided to recreate one of my favorite Buffalo Chicken Recipes, Buffalo Chicken Nachos! These nachos are super easy to make, gluten free and healthier than fried buffalo tenders and blue cheese. They aren’t super spicy so even my kids got in on some of the action. If you’ve got a craving for Buffalo Chicken wings, try out this amazing recipe and let me know what you think! Blazing ... read more

The BOMB Chicken Enchiladas

February 1, 2020

Gluten-Free Chicken Enchiladas! During these cooler California winter nights, I love to divert from our regular schedule of salads and grilling to make some comfort food. Since I am gluten-free and my husband tries to avoid carbs at all costs, we are somewhat limited in what we can make on the casserole front, but these BOMB gluten-free chicken enchiladas are healthy, gluten-free and delicious – I mean if I use Cayenne sparingly even my two-year old will eat them so that’s saying a lot! The BOMB Chicken Enchiladas Healthy and Gluten-Free Prep Time: 30 minutes Total Time: 1 hour Ingredients: 32 ounces of Chicken Stock or Broth (one box)One package of skinless, ... read more

Nothing about breastfeeding is easy in the beginning, but just when you think you’ve got it down to a science, your little one suddenly stops nursing! If your baby is younger than two years old, this is most likely not the beginning of a natural weaning process. You are most likely dealing with the dreaded nursing strike! Five Things You Don’t Need on Your Baby Registry! (And Five Things You Do)

January 23, 2020

A Guide To Creating the Perfect Baby Registry This post may contain affiliate links to products I love. Please see our full disclosure policy here. I distinctly remember the first time I set foot in buybuy BABY. I was about five months pregnant and someone told me that it was time to make a baby registry. I checked in at the desk and they handed me a scanner so I could walk through the larger than life store scanning things to add to the list. I just held the scanner and looked around. Paralyzed. Unable to click anything. OK, I thought to myself, let’s start with something I know I will need  - baby bottles. This oughtta be easy, right? WRONG. Do you know how many ... read more
